Something that has been happening consistently with this printer is when there's a discontinuity in the layer lengths, a band forms on the layers above and below. Almost like with the additional time it takes to print a longer layer the filament gets melted in the preceding layers.

I've seen this happen on others' prints, but I've never seen it being called out by a name.

Ender 3, stock 0.2 creality profile (200 °C hotend, 60 °C bed, wall speed 35 mm/s, retraction 6 mm @ 80 mm/s), ring vent duct, BLTouch
