I have blown the USB chip on my MKS Gen L when I was trying to internally hook up the USB data lines from a Raspberry Pi to the Gen L. I found another way to serially communicate with the MKS Gen L to still make it useful, but I found out that when I use the Update-firmware plugin in Octopi, it keeps giving me Sync issues. So now I have a board without the ability to update the firmware.

So I tried connecting the using a USB-TTL adapter to AUX-1's TX RX pin and I was able to get messages from the board in telnet when I press the reset button.

When I tried flashing the firmware using PlatformIO, it keeps saying time out.

I am wondering, what is the proper way to flash the firmware with the serial connection?
