Questions related to various types of stepper motor drivers

A stepper driver is an electronic circuit typically mounted on a driver board to plug in your 3D printer control board. Alternatively, these circuits may already be soldered to the printer board itself. Stepper motors cannot be directly controlled by the board CPU, so these circuits power the stepper motors directly from the supply voltage and control signals given by the CPU. To smooth the stepper output, micro-stepping is used to smooth the input to the stepper motor. Various stepper drivers are available for various micro stepping values.
